Colorful Cruciferous Vegetables
These Colorful Cruciferous Vegetables will be the jewel of any dinner table. This medley of fall vegetables shine beautifully in both color and taste. Brussels sprouts, butternut squash, and red beets are tossed and roasted separately to retain their own unique flavor. Thyme leaves, orange zest, and blood orange olive oil add special freshness and zing to these tasty veggies. A great side dish for the holiday season, or any family dinner.
Mama’s Candied Yams
These easy baked yams are a tender and delicious side dish, without being overly sweet. Mama’s Candied Yams are bathed in brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and orange juice, then baked to create a caramelized sauce to make them sweet and fork tender. With the classic flavors of Southern candied yams, combined with some mid-century nostalgia, this 60 year old recipe is a favorite Thanksgiving side dish from my mother’s kitchen. We modernized the recipe to make it quick and easy to prepare, and finished it with some chopped pecans to give them some crunch.
Pumpkin Spice White Russian
Our Pumpkin Spice White Russian is a twist on the traditional White Russian Cocktail. Bringing autumn flavors into this classic dessert cocktail, we used three simple ingredients to create a deliciously sweet, coffee flavored libation that provides the perfect boozy finish to any autumn meal. Our version of the White Russian takes it up a notch by frothing the creamer and garnishing with a cinnamon stick and a sprinkling of pumpkin spice.
